The exclusive Hart’s opened in Nottingham city centre on the old ramparts of Nottingham Castle in 1997 and boasts beautifully manicured gardens, a boutique hotel with 32 bedrooms and is licensed for wedding ceremonies for up to 100 guests in Hart’s Upstairs.
If you and your loved one are big foodies, your wedding breakfast will be an important aspect of your big day so you deserve a wedding venue that shares your passion. Hart’s have been an exclusive wedding venue since 2001 and includes a restaurant which is renowned for fine wines and its two AA rosettes.
Head chef Dan Burridge has created a selection of menus with classic modern British dishes. There are lots of different styles of wedding food, depending on what type of day you are planning. You may like to go down the traditional route, starting the feast with delicious canapés followed by a three-course wedding breakfast. Mains include sirloin of beef wellington, loin of Derbyshire lamb, garlic potatoes, farmhouse cabbage, rosemary & red wine sauce or line caught wild sea bass, braised fennel, saffron & parmesan polenta & basil sauce.
Alternatively, you could go for a buffet option or a barbecue wedding breakfast all served with fresh salad and Hambleton Bakery breads. If you’ve got lots of little ones coming to your big day, you can feel confident that they will be catered for. If an afternoon tea is more your style, you can choose a champagne version full of sandwiches, cakes and scones.
As well as great food, Hart’s offers exceptional service and you can take advantage of pre-dinner drinks and canapes, all while admiring some spectacular views over Nottinghamshire in our private garden.
Our dedicated wedding planner is able to recommend hand-picked wedding suppliers from cake makers to photographers for you, so you know everything is covered just as well as the food. Wedding packages include a menu tasting for two people as well as a complimentary room for the bride and groom.
