Dine out to help in new ‘Dine and Donate’ fundraiser.
Diners can support Nottinghamshire Hospice while enjoying a meal out throughout the summer as restaurants across the county sign up to Nottinghamshire Hospice ‘Dine and Donate’ scheme.
Restaurant-goers will be invited to add a voluntary £1 donation to their bill to support people with a terminal or life-limiting illness.
James Helm, Restaurant Manager at Hart’s said: “We are proud to be supporting Nottinghamshire Hospice with the fantastic work they do. We are in a position to help raise awareness and we are confident our customers will support this local charity by donating £1 when they dine with us over the summer.”
We were also among the first companies to sponsor a robin sculpture in the Hoodwinked art trail, due to go live 7th July. Proceeds from the sale of sculptures after the trail will also go to Nottinghamshire Hospice.
The Dine and Donate campaign runs from July to September, to coincide with the Hoodwinked trail dates.
Sarah Dunning, Corporate Fundraiser at Nottinghamshire Hospice says: “Each £1 donation may seem minimal but collectively they make a big difference to our patients, enabling us to continue providing the best palliative care, support and comfort to more than 900 families across Nottinghamshire.
