Restaurant Assistant Manager
Harts restaurant is looking to appoint an Assistant Manager to add to the Front of House team and assist in building upon the success of Nottingham’s premier fine dining restaurant. Harts restaurant delivers fresh, seasonal award winning A La Carte style food, in addition to a light bites and snacks.

As part of our front of house management team the purpose of the Assistant Manager is to assist the Restaurant Manager to profitably manage all aspects of the restaurant. Working to exceptionally high standards the main functions of the role are to take responsibility for:

  • All aspects of the customer experience
  • The day to day management of the restaurant and service operations
  • Communication across the restaurant
  • Front of House staff recruitment, development and performance
  • Front of house financial performance in line with agreed budget
  • Sales, marketing & promotion
  • Legal compliance
  • Restaurant development
  • Duty management

Previous management experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate will be from a 1-2 AA rosette background, with a knowledge of fine wines and champagnes being advantageous. You will be expected to be passionate about delivering great customer service, be flexible in your approach to the role, but just as importantly be a “team player”. Salary is dependent upon experience.

Chefs wanted We are looking for chefs (at all levels and experience) to work in the busy kitchen at Hart’s Restaurant. We are passionate about food and prepare everything in-house to a high standard using fresh ingredients and local produce. Our menus reflect this and change regularly. Hart’s Restaurant is currently seeking a full time waiter/waitress.  We are looking for someone who will be able to work various shifts including evenings and weekends, be enthusiastic and able to work on their own initiative  as well as part of the team. Part time Host
Hart’s Restaurant is currently seeking a part time host.  We are looking for someone who will be able to work various shifts including evenings and weekends, be charismatic, welcoming, friendly and have initiative. This role is based on hours around lunch and dinner service times welcoming and greeting guests as they arrive and depart the restaurant. Part/full time room attendant/housekeeping staff
